Note I’ve updated the money counter to show what I need to clear before I can start putting money into PhotoNOW – To explain quickly, I was foolish and the bank was aggressive, for anyone reading this do not get a credit card!

I soloed most of the week and had a friend help me on the last three days, he was working for free, I had great customers and good turnover.

This weeks excell sheet – Note : £80 to come and I’ve haven’t paid myself or my print bill, I should be looking at around £600-620 for myself, most of which will go towards clearing my debt.

I’ve added a new stand to my studio, it’s a spinning triangle display thingie ma bob.

It’s not fully finished yet, but it will tell more about PhotoNOW, what we offer and will sell Gift Vouchers which will come with a free print depending on what gift voucher they buy.

Once I leave it will be displayed in my fathers camera shop, listed with the dates, I’ll have to give a cut to my father, but this will build brand confidence and a little awareness.

I’ll get a  video together to show you it once I’ve dressed it up.

I’ve been asked non-stop for design work since my stand has been up, so I knocked up a small leaflet offering a design service aimed at Retail / RMU / stand displays. Done a few jobs already, looks promising.

Phase 1.9.9 – Getting ready for the next booking, further tests

Things to do:

Book space for next year. – Handed in 12 weeks for Waltham Cross, first half of next year, all half terms booked! – Need to check up to make sure they have been booked O.K.

Finish website – It’s nearly ready to go live, just needs a little content and product population.

Considerably better week, over double of what we did the week before.

My knowledge is growing quickly and meeting some great people along the way, though it appears my target is still physically far away, I feel more confident then ever.

I won’t lie, I’ve let my personal debt get out of control, which is now under control thanks to a friend.

That is why my money meter hasn’t been going up or down, I’ve had no room to push money back into my company.

My top priority is to clear this debt, once it’s gone, the money I’m sinking into paying it off can be spent on improving PhotoNOW and saving towards my future goals.

Last two weeks have been hellish,very little to do and very hard to book space in a different centre on short notice, i hate sitting around and wasting time.

I contacted the Prince’s Trust, hoping to hear back from them soon, a grant towards my new machine would be fantastic.

Yesterday I set back up in Waltham Cross, today was reasonable start at £90.00 takings. With slimier targets as last time anything above £800 is good and £700 being the minimum I can take.

Could really do with more signs, a few A boards or something, if business is good i may treat myself to one.
